A French tourist who went missing while coming back from the Mount Everest base camp on November 7 is yet to be found.
Nassin Nador, 38, was reported missing from near a bridge over the Imja Stream on the border of Pangbuche and Dibuche Village in Khumjung area while returning after trekking up to the Everest base camp. An aerial search was carried out for him immediately the report of his missing. After a week, a seven-member joint team from the Nepal Cannoning and the Nepal Mountaineering Instructions Association launched the on-site search for him, but to no avail.
Cannoning Association member Dabindra Lama, who was also the part of the search team, said Nador's relatives have appealed to one and all for help in the search for the missing trekker, through social network sites.
Virgin Nepal International Trek and Expedition arranged his trekking for two weeks. This was his first visit to Nepal.
