Yak Attack is the highest mountain bike race on Earth, climbing to the dizzying heights of 5416m above sea level. 8 stages, 400km, 12000m of overall altitude gain and a temperature range of +30c to -15c, tests the most experienced of riders.

North Face Yak Attack 2015 Cycle Race Winners |
This year, Nepal’s Ajay Pandit secured the first position in Yak Attack 2015, an international cycle race, held in Annapurna Circuit, the world-famous trekking trail. More than 30 participants of various country took part in the competition. Peter Butt of Australia came second while Narayan Gopal Maharjan and Ayaman Tamang of Nepal bagged third and fourth position respectively. The competition was started from Shivapuri, Kathmandu on November 7 and it ended at Tatopani, Myagdi on November 17.
According to Dipen Pradhan of Yeti Travels, people from India, America, Sweden, Japan, Bhutan, Korea and Britain took part in the race.
Mr. Ajay Pandit won a cash prize of 30,0000.
Participants covered a total of 445 kilometres in 10 days.
